Originally, by placing an ad on Craigslist, I found subjects willing to share their "unique" traits and be photographed. Each portrait took approx 10 minutes and each subject was given a cd, and print(s) of their best images.
The words are actual quotes from the subject's original email reply.
It has turned into a study of not what makes one unique, but what each person thinks makes them unique. It is my hope that viewers of this series will self-examine and value their own uniqueness.
